The Chuckle Channel is produced by Hob Osterlund, APRN. As founder of Health, Humor & Hospitals, Inc, Hob has learned first-hand about the Chuckle Channel’s benefits. During her rounds as a Clinical Nurse Specialist at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, her patients taught her how such entertainment lifts their spirits. Hob served as the Principal Investigator for the COMIC (comedy in chemotherapy) study, a controlled trial that demonstrated the positive impact of comedy on the symptoms of cancer and chemotherapy. She also writes and performs comedy as Ivy Push, RN.
